The Business Deal
Turnkey Technology was established in 1997 by Derek Stevens. The company provides consultants to the IT sector when companies need to outsource certain components of a project. The company has to put up with a lot of red tape, mainly from senior management. When companies have to sort out complex projects and need to put up with tight deadlines, they look for outsourcing options. They do this because it's often more economical and companies can get rid of full time employees substituting them for more flexibility.
As a consultant, I have to often work unsociable hours which means I can fall out with my partner over the most simplest tasks such as grocery shopping. The reality is that if you don't put in you don't get out and that means investing time as a rule.
At the moment our whole team has to chip in as deadlines are very tight so there's no getting away for five thirty. I would go as far to say that there's no holding back on ideas if you want to get away at a reasonable hour. I know that it's going to be very hard to get back into the swing of things after my holiday.
The company has to get round any hurdles if any deal is to go through, we have to count on our presentation skills to go after this deal. It won't be easy but we have to stay positive and chase this deal. If we are lucky we will end up with shaking hands and moving forward after all we are hardly likely to turn anything down at this stage.
